Day 01, Tuesday, March 10th (D/B) - Depart Canada for your flight to Cape Town, South Africa.

Day 02, Wednesday, March 11th (L) - Cape Town:  Upon arrival in Cape Town you will be met by the Tour Company’s local representative and transferred to your hotel.  The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 03, Thursday, March 12th (B/D) - Cape Town:  After Breakfast, the day is at leisure to rest up before your touring starts tomorrow.

Day 04, Friday, March 13th (B/D) - Cape Town City Tour with Table Mountain:  After breakfast, you will enjoy a half day orientation tour of Cape Town.  You will see iconic buildings, snatches of history, and experiences the uniqueness of this city.  Drive past the country’s oldest building, the Castle, and a short distance away, the Company’s Garden, both historically fascinating and well conserved.  Our drive continues past the Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the Slave Lodge; you’ll sense the depth of history via their distinctive architecture.  Colonial then changes to colourful, as you move up the cobblestoned hills to the Malay Quarter, and marvel at the ice-cream colors of the quaint Bo-Kaap homes.  Take the cable car up to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain from where you’ll be able to see to the end of the world, including the city and surrounding layout of this southernmost tip of Africa.  Return to the hotel after the tour and the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 05, Saturday, March 14th (B) - Cape Town - Robben Island:  After breakfast, transfer to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.  Situated in the heart of Cape Town’s working harbor, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront is the city’s most visited destination, offering a range of exciting activities, diverse cuisine and shopping for the discerning traveler.  This morning we take a tour to Robben Island.  Board your boat cruise from the Waterfront to Robben Island – a cruel home of our Nelson Mandela for so many years, it’s a highly charged and emotional moment when you visit the site of this suffering and realize how far South Africa has come from those days.  For nearly 400 years, Robben Island, about 12 kilometers from Cape Town, was a place of exile and imprisonment where rulers sent those they regarded as outcasts and troublemakers.  Since 1997 Robben Island has been a museum acting as a focal point of South African heritage.  Return to the V & A Waterfront where you will have the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 06, Sunday, March 15th (B/D) - Cape Town - Full Day Winelands Tour:  After breakfast set out to the picturesque Wine lands for a full day tour to visit Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch.  Today, you will see century old vineyards surrounded by awe-inspiring mountain scenery with extraordinary wine estates.  Included you will have one cellar tour and two wine tastings.  You will have time for lunch at a wine estate before returning to Cape Town. 

Day 07, Monday, March 16th (B/D) - Cape Town - Full Day Peninsula Tour:  After breakfast you will set out on a full day Peninsula Tour.  Drive along Millionaires Paradise from Clifton to Camps Bay and Llandudno, heading towards the charming working harbour of Hout Bay for a short stop.  Wind along the legendary Chapman's Peak Drive hugging the cliffs and relishing the breath-taking ocean views.  You end up at the wild and beautiful Cape of Good Hope Section of the Table Mountain National Park, an integral part of the world-renowned Cape Floral Kingdom.  Once at Cape Point, you will have time to explore (funicular ticket included).  On the return, stop at in Simon’s town with time for lunch and visit the Penguin colony at Boulders beach.  Later return to Cape Town, drop off at your hotel.

Day 08, Tuesday, March 17th (B/D) - Cape Town – Hermanus:  After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel overland to Hermanus.  A stunning coastal drive brings you to the Harold Porter National Botanical Garden with its delicate coastal fynbos.  You also seek out the small breeding colony of African Penguins at Stony Point.  In the 'Hemel-en-Aarde' region, one of South Africa's newest wine routes, you indulge in a wine tasting at a boutique winery before arriving in Hermanus.

Day 09, Wednesday, March 18th (B/D) – Hermanus - Oudtshoorn Via Route 62:  After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel overland Oudtshoorn via the very scenic route 62.  We will stop for lunch in the pretty village of Barrydale.  On arrival in Oudtshoorn you will be dropped off at the hotel for check in.  The rest of the day is yours at leisure. 

Day 10, Thursday, March 19th (B/L) – Oudtshoorn – Knysna:  This morning you marvel at the impressive Cango Caves on a one-hour tour, filled with weird and wonderful stalactite and stalagmite formations.  Thereafter a guided tour of an ostrich farm will give you some insight into why Oudtshoorn is known as the 'feather capital of the world'.  Afterwards, you travel via the panoramic Outeniqua Pass onto Knysna.

Day 11, Friday, March 20th (B/L) – Knysna - Featherbed Eco Tour:  Today you will visit the Featherbed Nature Reserve.  A specialist guide will share the history and fascinating facts on the fauna and flora of the area.  You will be served a sumptuous lunch under a canopy of Milkwood trees.  The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to explore Knysna.

Day 12, Saturday, March 21st (B/D) – Knysna - Plettenberg Bay – Tsitsikamma:  After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel overland to Tsitsikamma via Plettenberg Bay.  Today you will set off on an ocean safari to enjoy a 2-hour dolphin encounter cruise where you can view Bottlenose and common dolphins as well as seals in their natural environment.  Arrive late afternoon in the picturesque village of Storms River. 

Day 13, Sunday, March 22nd (B/D) - Tsitsikamma National Park - Storms River - Port Elizabeth – Durban:  After breakfast, check out of the hotel and visit the Tsitsikamma National Park.  Immerse yourself in the splendour and tranquillity of the Tsitsikamma National Park and then head to the Storms River Mouth for unrivalled views of the Indian Ocean.  Continue onwards to Port Elizabeth and transfer to the airport for your flight to Durban.  On arrival in Durban you are met and transferred to your hotel.  Tonight, enjoy Dinner at a local restaurant. 

Day 14, Monday, March 23rd (B/D) – Durban - St. Lucia - Hluhluwe Park:  After breakfast head north to the tiny village of St Lucia in the Isimangaliso Wetland Park, a World Heritage Site and one of South Africa's wilderness treasures.  A cruise on the St Lucia Estuary affords you wonderful photographic opportunities as you may encounter large pods of hippos, the occasional Nile crocodile and prolific birdlife.  After lunch you arrive at your lodge located in the first private concession within Africa's oldest proclaimed game reserve that is Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park.  As the lodge has unlimited access to the greater Hluhluwe imfolozi Park (home of white rhino conservation) you can enjoy the delightful scenery and excellent safari opportunity.  In the late afternoon, enjoy a game drive within the heart of Big 5 territory.  Marvel at the spectacular sunsets and continue your search for elusive nocturnal creatures before returning to the hotel.  Dinner is included at lodge tonight. 

Day 15, Tuesday, March 24th - Hluhluwe/Umfolozi National Park – Swaziland:  An early start with a cup of fresh coffee or tea, rusks and muffins after which you set out set out on early morning safari on the private concession.  Return to the lodge for a late breakfast.  Check out and travel North crossing the border into tiny Kingdom of Swaziland, a former British Protection Territory.  Arrive in the afternoon at your hotel and check in.  Dinner is included at the hotel tonight. 

Day 16, Wednesday, March 25th (B/D) – Swaziland – Hazyview:  After breakfast visit Mantenga Cultural Village, an authentic village to gain an insight into the fascinating traditional Swazi culture.  The cultural village is a living museum of all things traditional and represents a classical Swazi lifestyle during the 1850's.  The building materials are strictly traditional: poles, grass, reeds, leather strips, earth and dried cow-dung.  The Mantenga Village is a mini-complex of sixteen huts, each with its own specific purpose, kraals or byres for cattle and goats, reed fences that serve as windbreaks, and various other structures.  With the traditional artefacts on display, the village illustrates many facets of the ancient Swazi way of life: social, economic and religious.  Afterwards, cross the border back into South Africa and travel overland to Hazyview.  On arrival, check into the hotel.  Dinner is included at the hotel tonight. 

Day 17, Thursday, March 26th (B/D) – Hazyview:  Today, enjoy your first full day game drive in the famous Kruger National Park.  Dinner is included at the hotel tonight. 

Day 18, Friday, March 27th (B/D) – Hazyview:  Today, enjoy your second full day game drive in Kruger National Park.  Dinner is included at the hotel tonight. 

Day 19, Saturday, March 28th (B/D) – Hazyview – Johannesburg:  Today after breakfast, you traverse the glorious Panorama route taking in the spectacular God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes and Three Rondavels at Blyde River Canyon.  Arrive in Johannesburg; transfer to the hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure. 

Day 20 and 21, Sunday, March 29th & Monday, March 30th (B/B/L):  After Breakfast, take a half day tour of Johannesburg.  Drive by Constitution Hill, the Court and the Old Fort Prison; Johannesburg Inner City and the Carlton Centre; the Maboneng Precinct and Houghton.  Return to the hotel after the tour and the remainder of the day is at leisure.  Your hotel room will be available the rest of the day until check out later.  Transfer to the airport, for your flight departing South Africa back to Canada.
