Day 1 Sep 4 W – SASKATCHEWAN – WINNIPEG MB. Lose one hour at SK/MB border. Join our tour at Prince Albert BW+ Marquis Rd, Saskatoon Motel 6 Marquis Drive, Regina North Gate Mall, Moosomin Red Barn, SK/MB border, Brandon coffee stop location, Winnipeg or anywhere along this route if time allows.

Day 2 Sep 5 Th - WINNIPEG – THUNDER BAY ON B D. Lose one hour around Ignace. Watch for “Huskie the Muskie” along the road today. Travel through Kenora, Dryden and Ignace. Admire the 40-metre high Kakabeka Falls, the second highest waterfall in Ontario and has some of the oldest fossils in existence. Enjoy dinner near Kakabeka Falls before settling into hotel in Thunder Bay.

Day 3 Sep 6 F - THUNDER BAY – SAULT SAINT MARIE ON B. Visit the Terry Fox Memorial and Lookout, it offers a panoramic view of Thunder Bay and Lake Superior. While in White River, find out where Winnie-the-Pooh originated. Find a treasure at the Agawa Crafts Trading Post this afternoon. The next 2 nights are in Sault Saint Marie. The Agawa Train ride is a 12-minute walk from hotel.

Day 4 Sep 7 Sa - SAULT SAINT MARIE ON B L. Board the Agawa Train for one of the most popular train tours in North America. It is a full day trip traveling through Northern Ontario, through mixed forests of the Canadian Shield, skirt the shores of northern lakes and rivers, cross towering trestles, see rugged landscapes and majestic views. You will have 90 minutes to enjoy your picnic lunch and experience Agawa Canyon Park. There are several trails and a panaramic view above the tracks. It will leave you breathless. Return to the train and back to Sault Saint Marie for overnight.

Day 5 Sep 8 Su - SAULT SAINT MARIE – TORONTO North York ON B. Enjoy the view as you drive through some of the oldest French settlements in North America, along Lake Huron, with stops in Blind River, Sudbury – the home of the Giant Nickel, and Parry Sound. Pull into North York Toronto for the night. Dinner on own in restaurant on site.

Day 6 Sep 9 M – NORTH YORK – NIAGARA FALLS ON B. This morning you will travel on the Queen Elizabeth Hwy crossing the tip of Lake Ontario and stop for some site seeing on your own in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Stroll down Queen Street for (5 blocks) which may be the prettiest street in the province. It's lined with beautifully preserved historic buildings, boutique shops, and a wide range of restaurants and cafes. Close by the motor coach parking you can stroll to “Ye Olde Willow Tree”. There’s an old Celtic custom, if you knock on a willow tree, it is said to send away bad luck. Possibly where the saying of “touch wood” or “knock on wood” originated.  After lunch you will drive by Fort George, a military post that defended Upper Canada during the war of 1812. Travel along the Niagara River pass the homestead of the heroic Laura Secord. If ahead of schedule go to Old Scow lookout before settling into your hotel for the next two nights.

Day 7 Sep 10 T - NIAGARA FALLS B D. Meet your All About Niagara Guide who will show you some highlights of Niagara Falls as well as three major attractions, the Horn-blower which takes you close to the breathtaking flow of water, power, and mist. The Journey Behind the Falls gives a unique view of the falls from below and behind by decks and portals. The Whirlpool Aero Car transports you above Niagara River, offering wonderful views where the river escapes through the narrowest channel in the gorge. This evening is your Lobstick WELCOME Banquet in the Skylon Tower’s revolving restaurant. Mix, mingle and admire Niagara at night along with your fellow passengers. Casually stroll back to your hotel nearby. (6-minute walk)

Day 8 Sep 11 W - NIAGARA FALLS – OSHAWA ON B. Today is spent with an All About Toronto Guide showing you highlights of Toronto. You will begin with a narrated harbour cruise giving you a different perspective of Toronto. Your guide will lead you around Toronto too other major and historical sights, plus take you to the top of the CN Tower to get the sights of the city from above. Overnight nearby in Oshawa.

Day 9 Sep 12 Th – OSHAWA – OTTAWA ON B. Stop at the “Big Apple” roadside venue for coffee. Followed with drive by historic sights in Kingston before a walking tour of Fort Henry, a strategic, elevated point near the mouth of the Cataraqui River which flows into the St Lawrence River. Travel to Upper Canada Village in Morrisburg Historical Site, for a magical experience, transporting you back in time to the 1860s. You are touring on your own, at your pace. Be sure to check out a few of the shops and don’t miss a ride of your own choice on the Carry-all, Tow Scow or Miniature Train. For the next 2 nights you are in Ottawa close by the By-Ward Market. (1-minute walk)

Day 10 Sep 13 F - OTTAWA ON B. Step On Guide company will show you around Ottawa, beginning with Parliament Buildings, followed by Rideau Canal, Prime Minister home and stop for lunch at the By-Ward Market, an outdoor farmers’ market with stalls and specialty food shops selling just about everything. Visit the RCMP Stables and finish the day at the Royal Canadian Mint, a 1908 Castle-like headquarters with the world’s biggest coin and gold bars on display.

Day 11 Sep 14 Sa - OTTAWA – MONTREAL QC B. Meet your Step On Guide who will show you the best of Montreal. Some of the highlights will be Ste-Catherine Street, St-Helen Island, Mont-Royal and The Old Place just to name a few. Hotel is right next to great restaurant, bar & grill.

Day 12 Sep 15 Su - MONTREAL – QUEBEC CITY QC B D. The most scenic route from Montreal to Quebec City is along the north Shore of the St Lawrence River on Route 138 also known as Chemin du Roy. It takes you through charming villages, picturesque countryside, and beautiful views of the river. Spend the afternoon with your Step On Guide for highlights in Quebec City, Plains of Abraham, Cape Diamond, Place Royal, Old Quebec and so much more. Your tour will end with an authentic French-Canadian meal with music and a taste of Maple Taffy.  Next two nights in Quebec City.

Day 13 Sep 16 M - QUEBEC CITY QC B. Free Day for all. Sightsee on your own. Taxi to Old Quebec other places you’d like to see, sample French Canadian cuisine. Or Rest, relax, recoup.

Day 14 Sep 17 T - QUEBEC CITY - GRAND FALLS NB B. Lose one hour crossing into New Brunswick. Visit the most prestigious museum of woodcarvings in north America. Chosen by public as the most beautiful attraction in the Chaudieres-Appalaches area. Next is a hidden gem in Riviere du Loup. A great way to connect with outdoors and natural beauty with an easy walk to the observation deck. Bid farewell to Quebec. New Brunswick lies entirely within the Appalachian Mountain range. Witness Grand Falls spectacular gorge with its breathtaking views before settling for the night.

Day 15 Sep 18 W - GRAND FALLS – FREDERICTON NB B L. Take the opportunity to walk across the Hartland Bridge, the world’s longest covered bridge. Stop at King’s Landing, tour the living history village museum with original buildings from the period of 1820 – 1920 nestled in a majestic setting. Followed by a King’s Landing hearty lunch. See the Mactaquac Dam, opened in 1968, is an embankment dam used to generate hydroelectricity. It dams the waters of the Saint John River and generates electricity from 6 turbines; and represents 20 percent of New Brunswick's power demand.

Day 16 Sept 19 Th - FREDERICTON – HOPEWELL ROCKS NB B. The Target Tours Guide will show you highlights of Fredericton. Then you are off to Moncton to witness the illusion of vehicles rolling up hill at Magnetic Hill. Stroll the Wharf Village with it’s unique shopping, delicious food, and tasty treats. Have a few stops along the way to Hopewell Rocks for overnight, be sure to get a glimpse of tide level when you arrive tonight. Tomorrow you can sleep in a little longer.

Day 17 Sep 20 F – HOPEWELL ROCKS – CHARLOTTETOWN PE B L. Hopewell Rocks, has the highest tides in the world. When the tide is low, you will have the opportunity to walk ocean floor. Watch the tide come in while having coffee before heading to Shediac, “Lobster Capital of the World”. A quick photo op with the “giant lobster” before your Bay Cruise and Lobstick lunch (other choices offered) They show you how to fish, haul, crack and eat your lobster catch. Stop at the Confederation Bridge Lookout to see the world’s longest bridge crossing the water that spans 12.9km, connecting Prince Edward Island to New Brunswick. Next two nights you are in Charlottetown.

Day 18 Sep 21 Sa - CHARLOTTETOWN PE B. Target Tours guide takes you to sights on Prince Edward Island. Tour includes North Rustico Harbour fishing village, Anne of Green Gables house, the Bluffs, Stanley Bridge and Founder’s Hall. This evening you will step away from the Maritimes theme for just a bit to attend “Jersey Boys” a jukebox musical – it is presented in a documentary style that tells the story, the formation, success, and breakup of the 1960s rock n roll group The Four Seasons.

Day 19 Sep 22 Su – CHARLOTTETOWN – HALIFAX NS B. Stop in Springhill for a visit to the little Anne Murray Center. She was the first Canadian female solo singer to reach #1 on the US Charts and 1st to earn a gold record. Travel through Truro and Stewiake. Tour The Citadel, a fortified summit restored to the Victoria period, and Pier 21 Museum of Immigration. Discover the history of immigration in Canada before, during, and after Pier 21 was active. Heritage Interpreters walk you through 400 years of history. If you are curious about a particular ship, or if you want to know more about War Brides, let your guide know. Halifax is your stop.

Day 20 Sep 23 M - HALIFAX NS B. Target Tours guide takes you to the lighthouse route to Peggy’s Cove, an active fishing village and home of the Peggy’s Point Lighthouse. Witness the power of the sea, immerse yourself in the natural landscape, and experience the sights and sounds of the village and the Peggy’s Cove Preservation Area. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lunenburg, the authentic 19th century fishing village, to Mahone Bay, to see one of the most iconic views, of the Three Churches.

Day 21 Sep 24 T - HALIFAX NS B Free Day for all. Sightsee on your own. Rest, relax, recharge, your choice. OR go aboard the CSS Arcadia and explore the more than 100-year-old ship’s bridge, chart room and officer’s quarters. OR ride the Alderney or Woodside Ferries to Dartmouth and Woodside Wharf. OR go to a favorite stop along the boardwalk at the Seaport Farmer’s Market. You’ll find fruits and vegetables to baked goods, wines, craft beers, homemade soaps, and jewelry. Before you leave Halifax have a seat at one of the several seafood restaurants and enjoy the day’s fresh catch while gazing out at the open waters!

Day 22 Sep 25 W – HALIFAX – NORTH SYDNEY NS B. Before leaving Halifax, make a few quick stops. One: the location of the SS Mont Blanc’s anchor shaft, weighing over 1100 pounds flew clear over the city from the Halifax Explosion. Two: the cemetery for many victims aboard the Titanic. Their graves arranged in a curve, reminiscent of a ship’s hull. In New Glasgow you will stop at ‘Their Light Shall Always Shine’ Memorial Park. A serene and sacred space in honor of the miners who tragically lost their lives in the Westray Mine Disaster with a beautiful sculpture known as the ‘Monument of Life’.  This afternoon, enjoy the shores of Bras d’ Or Lake to Baddeck and tour the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, learn more about Alex the inventor, scientist, and engineer. Overnight the next two nights in North Sydney. Your hotel is overlooking the harbour and Marine Atlantic Terminal and is a 5-minute stroll from Indian Beach, named after the first Nations people who used to habit the area.

Day 23 Sep 26 Th - NORTH SYDNEY – CABOT TRAIL NS B L. Meet your Target Tours guide on route to the Cabot Trail. The guide will show you highlights of the scenic roadway passing through Cape Breton Highlands National Park. You will follow the rugged coastline providing spectacular views of the ocean. Enjoy your mountain view lunch along the way. Return to North Sydney for the evening and relax with a drink on the deck.

Day 24 Sep 27 F - NORTH SYDNEY – PORT AUX BASQUES NF B. Lose ½ hr while crossing the Channel between Gulf of St Lawrence and North Atlantic Ocean. Board the Marine Atlantic Ferry and sail to Newfoundland. (approximately 6-hour sail) Newfoundland is one of the best-kept vacation secrets, nestled into the northeast corner of North America. The province offers a leisurely “Old World” pace and is one of the most romantic places in Canada.

Day 25 Sep 28 Sa - PORT AUX BASQUES – DEER LAKE NF B. Travel to Corner Brook to Captain James Cook Historical Site, for an impressive view of the city, mountain, cave, and Bay of Islands explored by Captain Cook.  Venture to the Discovery Center at Bonne Bay, Gros Morne National Park. You will learn geology to plants, moose to caribou, and marine life to arctic life. From the Centre you can head up the Lookout Trail onto the arctic highlands for an incredible view on the park and Tablelands. Excellent photo op.

Day 26 Sep 29 Su - DEER LAKE – CLARENVILLE NF B D. Visit Gander’s airport, one of the largest runways in Canada which received worldwide attention for the role it played in safely grounding 38 wide-body planes during 9/11. Then to Silent Witness Memorial, a tranquil park dedicated to the 256 individuals who lost their lives in 1985 in the Arrow Air crash. Stop at Terra Nova Interpretive Center. An impressive, informative place with a touch tank and some aquaria with local aquatic creatures. This evening is your FAREWELL Dinner and sampling a traditional Jigg’s meal, followed by a Screech-In Ceremony and you become an honorary Newfoundlander. Enjoy!

Day 27 Sep 30 M – CLARENVILLE – ST JOHN’S NF B L. This morning you’ll see a collapsed sea cave with a natural archway carved by the sea at Dungeon Park. Go to the tip of Cape Bonavista and tour the 1843 lighthouse, followed by drive by sight of Mockbeggar Plantation, a fishery plantation site since the 1700s, a thriving operation that played a major role in the development of Bonavista. Stop in Port Union at the Coaker Factory for a delicious lunch and tour their museum.

Day 28 Oct 1 T - ST JOHN’S NF B. Meet your step on tour guide who will take you to St John’s historic sights. Cape Spear, Signal Hill, Quidi Vidi Village, war memorial and Jellybean row. Say goodbye to your motor coach driver tonight, he’ll be heading back tomorrow morning, and you will be flying home.

Day 29 Oct 2 W – FLY HOME B.
