Our 13 day tour takes you through five national parks. You'll see Lake Louise, Columbia Icefields, Canadian Rockies, Pacific coastline, Chemainus Murals and Duncan Totem poles. View spectacular Athabasca, Spahats, Brandywine and Bow Falls. Enjoy guided city tours of Victoria, Vancouver and areas. Visit Tofino, Ucluelet, Port Alberni, and Coquitlam. Spend time at Westminster Abbey, Capilano Bridge, Butterfly Gardens, Butchart Gardens, and Hell's Gate.
DAY 1, APRIL 19TH, WED. SK - CALGARY: Meet fellow travellers along the way to CALGARY.
DAY 2, APRIL 20TH, THURS. CALGARY - JASPER (B): Enjoy a scenic drive to LAKE LOUISE, with its spectacular views of forests and snowcapped mountains. Visit the COLUMBIA ICEFIELD DISCOVERY CENTRE where you can view the remnants of the last nice age. Stop at the ATHABASCA FALLS for the incredible view and a few photos before heading to JASPER for overnight.
DAY 3, APRIL 21ST, FRI. JASPER - KAMLOOPS (B/L): Today, weather permitting, you will get a view of the unique geological structure of MT. ROBSON. Travel through VALEMOUNT and BLUE RIVER. View the 75 meter tall SPAHATS FALLS. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the NORTH THOMPSON RIVER PROVINCIAL PARK. Then off to KAMLOOPS for the evening.
DAY 4, APRIL 22ND, SAT. KAMLOOPS - NANAIMO (B): Shop at the JADE STORE in CACHE CREEK. Lunch on own in the community of LILLOOET. Driving tour of WHISTLER, easy walk to the BRANDYWINE FALLS lookout. Catch the HORSESHOE BAY ferry to DEPARTURE BAY and spend the night in NANAIMO.
DAY 5, APRIL 23RD, SUN. NANAIMO - PORT ALBERNI (B): Walk amongst the giant Douglas-fir trees in CATHEDRAL GROVE in MACMILLAN PROVINCIAL PARK. Continue on to UCLUELET driving tour, followed by sightseeing in the relaxed surf town of TOFINO. Tour their BOTANICAL GARDENS, a brief stop at CHESTERMAN BEACH, then head to PORT ALBERNI, the "Heart of Vancouver Island" for the evening.
DAY 6, APRIL 24TH, MON. PORT ALBERNI - VICTORIA (B): As you travel to VICTORIA, you will visit the MURALS OF CHEMAINUS, and the TOTEM POLES in DUNCAN. This afternoon is a guided city tour of VICTORIA. Which includes OAK BAY, BEACON HILL PARK, MILE 0, CATTLE POINT, MOUNT TOLMIE, SONGHEE'S POINT, and more.
DAY 7, APRIL 25TH, TUES. VICTORIA SIGHTSEEING (B): Experience the tropical wonderland of the BUTTERFLY GARDENS. Followed by the beautiful floral displays of the BUTCHART GARDENS. Later, sample some local wine before touring VICTORIA by water aboard a harbour ferry. A 45 minute tour where you can jump off at the FISHERMAN'S WHARF for some fish n' chips or ice cream.
DAY 8, APRIL 26TH, WED. VICTORIA FREE DAY (B): Explore on your own, visit relatives, relax or soak up the sun.
DAY 9, APRIL 27TH, THURS. VICTORIA - VANCOUVER (GUIDED CITY TOUR) (B): Catch the SWARTZ BAY ferry to TSAWWASSEN terminal. Followed by a guided city tour of VANCOUVER. Where you will be guided through CHINA TOWN, GAS TOWN, QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK and more.
DAY 10, APRIL 28TH, FRI. VANCOUVER SIGHTSEEING (B): This morning, stroll the beautiful monastery grounds that overlooks the FRASER RIVER at WESTMINSTER ABBEY. Drive to COQUITLAM, stop at CAPILANO BRIDGE, trading post and cafe. Back to your hotel.
DAY 11, APRIL 29TH, SAT. VANCOUVER - KELOWNA (B): Today, visit the spectacular sight of HELL'S GATE. Travel through the numerous vineyards along the slopes on your way to KELOWNA.
DAY 12, APRIL 30TH, SUN. KELOWNA - CALGARY (B/F): Morning stop at CRAIGELLACHIE, the site of the "Last Spike" of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Continue on to GOLDEN, to the KICKING HORSE BRIDGE, a brief stop at the CASTLE MOUNTAIN CAMP INTERNMENT MEMORIAL, for the immigrant prisoners of Ukrainian, Austrian, Hungarian and German descent. View the BOW FALLS, with a brief stop in BANFF, before heading to CALGARY for overnight. This evening is your (F) farewell social.
DAY 13, MAY 1ST, MON. CALGARY - SK (B): Homeward bound, cherishing wonderful memories of your travels with new found friends.
