Get ready to put on them Blue Suede Shoes for the BRANSON, MEMPHIS, NASHVILLE 16-DAY MOTOR COACH TOUR, full of musical adventures! From Saskatchewan to Minot, North Dakota - travelling through rugged, rolling plains and hills, with stops in Carrington, Fargo, Watertown, and Sioux Falls. South through Sioux City, visiting Lewis & Clark Monument, overlooking Council Bluffs, Missouri river and Omaha skyline, arrive in St Joseph, Missouri for a social evening. South through Clinton MO, tour of the Fantastic Caverns. In the mountains, Silver Dollar City with evening entertainment Legends in Concert. Next up – Branson! Take in 3 shows: Down Home Country, Daniel O’Donnell, and Shoji Tabuchi, with time during the day to visit Branson Landing for shopping and sightseeing. Leaving Branson and the Ozarks for the plains of Tennessee - Welcome to Memphis! Famous for its influence of blues, soul and rock n roll. Visit the Gibson Guitar Factory and learn the process of guitar-making. Take an evening stroll along Beale Street, enjoying the sights, tastes and sounds. Our next morning in Memphis starts with a Backbeat Tour bus – going back in time to the King of Graceland, with an audio tour of the Mansion, viewing of the gravesite, Auto Museum, and the Elvis Archives Experience. Afternoon - an introduction to Memphis on board the Mojo Tour - with professional Beale Street musicians who play and sing selections throughout the action-packed drive, bringing the city experience to life. Day 8 – grab your hat, we’re going to Nashville, music city! We meet with a Gray Line step on guide and tour the Ryman Auditorium, home of the Grand Ole Opry. Afterwards, a City Tour of Nashville, witnessing famous landmarks and iconic sites. Second day in Nashville - a visit to the Country Music Hall of Fame, afterwards you can wander through Opry Mills Mall and the Gaylord Opryland Resort. We return to the Ryman Theatre for a performance at the Grand Ole Opry. Farewell to Nashville as we travel to Pigeon Forge, and spend the afternoon in Dollywood. A morning Mountain Memory tour guide delivers narration, stories and mountain folklore as we explore scenic Appalachian roads, and the afternoon is time spent at the Old Mill, a historic gristmill consisting of 2 country cooking eateries as well as shops. Top off the evening with Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede Dinner – dinner theatre with a twist, a unique live show with trick riders, pyrotechnics and a fabulous meal. Heading north to Louisville, Kentucky - we visit and experience a historic walking tour of the Kentucky Derby Churchill Downs Racetrack, with a media experience, exhibits and a gift shop. Tour of the Louisville Slugger Museum, home of the World’s Largest Baseball Bat, it offers interactive exhibits and tells the story behind the bat and the family company. Day 13, we meet a step on guide for a City Tour of Indianapolis, and experience the grand scale of the Motor Speedway. We begin our next morning with a Plymouth Playhouse matinee feature “Country Christmas”, and an afternoon option of visiting the Mall of America or resting up for the evening Christmas Dinner Wind Up Banquet. The last two days we travel back through the Dakotas to Minot for an overnight, and then Homeward Bound - the day consisting of Duty Free shop, border crossing, late lunch in Regina, pit stop Saskatoon and final stop Prince Albert, with fond memories and new found friends.
