Day 1, November 4th: Minot ND. Join our tour from Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Regina, North Portal, Portal, Minot and if time allows anywhere along the route.
Day 2, November 5th: Minot ND - Sioux Falls SD (B). Travel through Dakota's rugged landscape with rolling hills, plains, ravines and steep flat-topped hills. Stop along the way in Carrington, Fargo, Watertown. Overnight in Sioux Falls.
Day 3, November 6th: Sioux Falls SD - St Joseph MO (B). Head south through Sioux City. Lunch on own in Council Bluffs. This afternoon tour JESSE JAMES HOME where outlaw Jesse James was living and gunned down on April 3rd, 1882 and the PATEE MUSEUM was once a 140-room luxury hotel eventually turning into a museum and designated a National Historic Landmark for its role as the PONY EXPRESS HEADQUARTERS. Evening social with hot and cold snacks with beverages.
Day 4, November 7th: St Joseph MO - Branson MO (B). Continue south through Clinton. Tour the FANTASTIC CAVERNS. The only show cave in North America to offer a complete ride-through tour in a Jeep-drawn tram. The temperatures linger at 60 degrees all year. Lunch on own in Springfield, then off to Branson. Tonight is a Christmas show with the HAYGOODS with their tight harmonies, innovative, energetic choreography, incredible special effects and amazing performances with over 20 different instruments. Overnight in Branson.
Day 5, November 8th: Branson MO (B). Morning show: ALL HANDS ON DECK, is an All-Singing, All-Dancing, All-American 1942 Roadshow & Radio Broadcast reproduction that delivers the feel-good show you’ve always wanted to see! Afternoon show: DANIEL O’DONNELL, one of the area’s most popular visiting artists, known for his charisma and engaging stage presence as he performs a mix of country and Irish folk music and always creates a close bond with his audience. Evening show: MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS, a grand story with and uplifting message, with enormous sets, elaborate costumes, immersive lighting and sound design. Overnight in Branson.
Day 6, November 9th: Branson MO - Memphis TN (B/D). From the rugged mountainous terrain of the OZARKS to the plains of Tennessee. Welcome to MEMPHIS, city on the Mississippi River in southwest Tennessee, famous for the influential strains of blues, soul and rock n roll that originated there. Tour the ROCK N ROLL MUSEUM followed by the MUSIC HALL OF FAME. Dinner at BLUES CITY CAFE, an old-school juke-joint eatery specializing in blues music and soul food, definitely a southern treat. You have the rest of the evening to walk BEALE STREET. Overnight in Memphis.
Day 7, November 10th: Memphis TN (B) (DRIVER DAY OFF). Jump aboard BACKBEAT TOURS bus, your charter and guide for the day. Visit GRACELAND, experience Elvis’ roots, his influences and his artistry, with the addition of the Guesthouse and the all new complex for shopping and dining. This afternoon meet the guide for your MOJO TOUR, where the Home of the Blues comes alive aboard the nation’s only music bus. An unforgettable exciting introduction to Memphis on an action-packed drive through the city. The guides are professional Beale Street musicians who play and sing throughout the tour. This unique experience brings Memphis to life, while entertaining you with comedy, history, and behind-the-scenes stories of your favourite Memphis personalities. Return to the hotel for the evening.
Day 8, November 11th: Memphis TN - Nashville TN (B). Before leaving Memphis a quick photo op for a moment at BB KING and the ELVIS Bronze Statue. Lunch on own in Dickson, stop at GRAND OLE OPRY HOUSE - home of the famed, long-running radio show, for group photo before heading over to GAYLORD OPRYLAND RESORT, with its sprawling atrium, 19 restaurants and bars and 9 acres of indoor gardens (boat tours available). Free evening with snacks and beverages.
Day 9, November 12th: Nashville TN (B). Early morning start with a private tour of RCA Studio B. This is a music lovers must see! The recording studio was build in 1956. So much incredible history, many artists recorded there and there is a sense of energy still in the halls and rooms. Next you will tour COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME, one of the world's largest museums, research centers, and most extensive musical collections. Lunch on own then this afternoon meet your GRAYLINE Step on Guide that will take you around to some historical places in Nashville, beginning with a tour of the RYMAN THEATER. This evening you will return to the Ryman Theater for a performance of the GRAND OLE OPRY. The place where countless country music careers have been launched and Nashville became Music City.
Day 10, November 13th: Nashville TN - Pigeon Forge TN (B). Travel up to the mountain resort city of PIGEON FORGE. Spend the afternoon in DOLLYWOOD, located in the Knoxville-Smoky Mountains. This theme park features thrill rides, numerous places to eat, traditional crafts and music.
Day 11, November 14th: Pigeon Forge TN (B/D). This morning a MOUNTAIN MEMORY Step on Guide will deliver delightful stories and mountain folklore while exploring the scenic Appalachian roads.
This afternoon a trip to GATLINBURG - on your own to shop, explore, take a chairlift ride or test some moonshine.
This evening is DOLLY PARTON’S STAMPEDE DINNER. A dinner theater with a twist. A unique live show with trick riders, pyrotechnics and a fabulous meal.
Day 12, November 15th: Pigeon Forge TN - Columbus IN (B/L). Head north to LOUISVILLE KY. Have lunch at the DERBY CAFE which serves Hot Browns & Mint Juleps nestled amidst the backdrop of one of the most famous racetracks in America. Follow lunch with a walking tour of the KENTUCKY DERBY CHURCHILL DOWNS MUSEUM and RACETRACK. View a short video, experience exhibits and gift shop. Tour the LOUISVILLE SLUGGER MUSEUM, home of the World's Biggest Baseball Bat. Interactive exhibits tell the story behind the bat and the family company that still creates it. This evening relax and enjoy a few drinks and snacks.
Day 13, November 16th: Columbus IN - CLEVELAND OH (B). Meet your CIRCLE CITY Step on Guide for a city tour of INDIANAPOLIS. See Victory Field stadium, Lucas Oil stadium, 9/11 Memorial, Downtown Canal, Circle Theatre, Soap Box Derby track, Rolls Royce HQ and experience the grand scale of the MOTOR SPEEDWAY. Lunch on own before leaving. Overnight in Cleveland.
Day 14, November 17th: CLEVELAND - HAMMOND IN (B). This morning you will head to CLEVELAND’S ROCK N ROLL HALL OF FAME MUSEUM. An iconic music-minded museum loaded with pop-culture memorabilia, artifacts, instruments and a jukebox. Hammond IN area for overnight.
Day 15, November 18th: HAMMOND - MINNEAPOLIS MN (B). Travel north, shop, and have dinner at the MALL OF AMERICA, the nation’s largest shopping and entertainment destination featuring over 520 stores, 60 restaurants and one of the largest indoor theme parks.
Day 16, November 19th: MINNEAPOLIS - MINOT ND (B/D). Continue heading north. Overnight in Minot. Windup banquet.
Day 17, November 20th: MINOT - HOME (B). Homeward bound with fond memories and new found friends. Your day consists of Duty Free shop, border crossing, late lunch in Regina, pit stop in Saskatoon and final stop in Prince Albert.
